Summer 2004

I AM GOING TO ISRAEL! Yep. For a whole month. One-twelfth of a year. About 30 days, during the summer. EEEHEEEHEEE!! :) If you can't tell I am super excited. Oh yea. Summer in Israel. I haven't done that since I was seventeen. Sheeesh that was a long time ago. I am getting old. Well, at any rate, Israel in the summer and I can't wait. My dad is already getting excited about having a smashball partner. I can't wait to spend tons of time baking in the sun on the Tel Aviv beach. Unnecessary wrinkles will definitely be acquired but they will have been worth it.

And just for kicks (totally random), here is a picture of me in Budapest admiring the Danube

Poor Howard

Howard Stern was kicked off six radio stations last week. An article states, "The listener proceeded to spew invective, asking Salomon if he had slept with black celebrities and liberally using the n-word. Within hours, anti-Stern forces had mobilized...It was a classic Stern brouhaha—sex! racism! censorship!—except for one thing: It had almost nothing to do with Howard Stern. Clear Channel's Hogan was really responding to the furor created by Janet Jackson at the Super Bowl—he wanted to show congressional regulators, before whom he testified, that his network wouldn't follow the path of CBS. "

Sometimes, the US can be so lame. This whole ordeal is just silly. Luckily, Howard is still on my radio station here in the Bay Area so I can still listen to him every morning! *phew*!

My Israel Pics!

I have noticed that sometimes my whole blog doesn't load up. I have no idea how to fix this other than to reload the page. So if you experience the same problem (the entry is half cut off is the indicator) just hit the reload and it should fix the problem. You might have to click it a few times. If anyone knows why this is happening do let me know so I can try and fix the problem. The reason I bring it up is because I posted two beautiful pictures of the Tel Aviv beach. Scroll down to see them. I am so proud of these pics and I want to share them with the whole world because Tel Aviv is beautiful!

Tears Again

A Jewish couple from Be'er Sheba were murdered a few days ago. Their funeral was held yesterday. A young couple who leave behind a young daughter. Breaks my heart. Enrages me too. I wish there was something I could do to change the reality. What will the girl think when she gets older and realizes what happened to her parents? I know there would be no way for me to ever forgive anyone if that happened to me. Below are the depressing photos from the whole ordeal. I got them thru this site.

I thought the whole idea for having our own state was so that we would stop dying because we are Jewish. This hasn't changed. Years go by, the world claims it becomes more advanced, more civilized, more accepting and yet certain things never change. The resentment and hatred of the Jewish people has not died and we continue to pay for it.
